Manifestations of the BISOK legacy.

Testimonials

BISOK is love( heart ung nanjan, di
ko macopy kaya love nilagay ko.
Haha) . I found all the good reasons to
stay happy and in love in Bisok. It has
been not only a leadership training
ground but a family as well. I will
never forget the day I joined the organization.

The UP Agribusiness Society, or more
popularly known to us as Bisok, is a
great epitome of what an organization
is like. It is composed of an array of
dedicated and multi-talented members
who work cooperatively to uplift
the ideals of their organization. They
teach and train one another in such a
way as to when they enter the “real
world” they will be the forerunners in
their respective fields. In whatever
they do, may it be simple tambayan
activities or large-scale ones, they
always conduct them in a manner
that will uphold the honor and integrity
of their course, college and university.
Moreover, they are able to
display the important foundation of
any student organization: true brotherhood/
sisterhood. This feeling of
kinship is not only extended to their
member brods and sisses, but also to
their fellow iskolars, especially to the
other members of the Exclusives.
And of course, despite excelling in
their curricular and extra-curricular
commitments, they still definitely
know how to have fun LB style. Now
that’s Bisok- a certified organization
ng bayan.

-Julia Celine P. Yumol,
UPLB Economics Society (ECONSOC
)

“BISOK is a mix of people with brains, talents and character. Each one gives a lot of love for the organization. I would never regret having entered BISOK for I just know that college would not be as exciting,
fun, challenging, and memorable if I I’m not a BISOK member. I’m thankful that my feet brought me to the tambayan (even accidentally) for now, it’s one of the safest places where I put my heart for cover.”

I am very thankful because this is the
organization that I have chosen in
CEM. Being an academic organization,
UP ABS promotes academic
excellence which is very helpful in
motivating every member to become
one among the top students in class.
Aside from this, every member is also
being trained to become a good
leader through spearheading activities
such as the MGT 101 Quiz Contest.
As for my experience, this helps
me a lot especially when I was asked
in job interviews and thus gained me a
positive response. Indeed, this organization
unleashed the best in me and
helped me to discover my potentials.
So, what are you waiting for? Come
on and join us and become part of
the UP ABS family.

BISOK? Matatag. Active. Saka, ang
gagaling ng mga members nito. Astig tong org na to.

- Joerell Benetua, UP Film Circle

“Agribusiness Society is the only exclusive organization for Agribusiness Management students. As a non‐member and a friend of several members of this organization, I can say that they are an academically driven group. They train their members to be competitive and be confident to face the challenges of the outside world. They
teach their members to be an agribusiness manager full of dignity with a love of our university and our country. I can consider them as a group of good leaders with a principle of teamwork.”

‐Pam, BSABM ‘05, Sigma Alpha Sorority

“Ang BISOK ang pamilya ko sa elbi… they bring out the best in me and I need not to pretend to be somebody else pag kasama ko ang SOC.”

‐Ruth Abegail Guzman, Uhay '07

“BISOK...like life’s breath taking roller coaster ride. Happy I took my chance.”

- Roxanne Banalo, Kaizen ‘09

“Bisok ba? hmmm... pwede ko ba siya tawagin ng ganon? Sige, Yan ang org na papasukin ko kung mago‐org ako… astig kasi eh… iba siya… yun nga lang… hindi ako mago‐org eh… however, kinatatakutan
din ang org na yan… ewan ko ba… iba sila eh… astig silang lahat… lahat sila ang galing magsalita… nakaattend na kasi ako ng orientation nila. Basta..”

‐Jarae, BSABM ‘05

“Being a member of UP Agribusiness Society is such a great honor. Marami akong natutunan sa BISOK na hindi ko matututunan sa loob ng silid-aralan. I’m very proud to be a part of this family. I can truly say that UP ABS is the most prestigious organization in  CEM.”
